·
To inform the public about the purpose and application of
embalming
·
To provide members of Epsilon Nu Delta with the tools to arrange
for continuing education for their chapters and communities
I hear, I know. I see, I remember. I do, I
understand." (Confucius,

“Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still;
teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.” Proverbs 9:9
Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity’s
motto is “Dedicated to science and service for
the profession.” One of the most important ways in which we serve the
profession is through education. At the twice annual meetings of the
Fraternity, there are educational offerings which are geared to the funeral
profession, and most often focus on embalming. These offerings are accredited
by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and various state
licensing boards. Individual chapters are covered under the educational
umbrella of the National body, and may sponsor accredited continuing education
activities. You can contact the Chair of Education or a Regional Vice President
of the Fraternity for specifics on how to set up continuing education for your
chapter.
Additionally, Epsilon Nu Delta offers educational programs
for community groups and students. Please contact us via email for more
information on our community presentations.
